Brainstorm of ideas for the video

Filming plan

The table above shows the basic outline of when and what we need to film

Other considerations such as lighting will need to be considered but it is difficult to plan lighting in advance for the outdoor locations as we cannot predict the natural light. We will film the band playing the entire song on the beach

· Actors

A fundamental part of any music video is the actors, will use three students from within the college to represent the main roles
The actors will have to wear clothing representative of the Arctic Monkey genre and typical of their fans

The video will be largely based on narrative of the lyrics, with the chorus performed by the band, which will require a vocalist and guitarist
Props will be vital to ensure the production is as successful as possible; these can enhance the realism of the actors and locations

· Type of shots

A variety of shots will maintain audience interest and can be used to enhance the moods surrounding the lyrics

Different depths of fields can perhaps clearly show the smaller boy in the foreground as the other two actors walk away hand in hand out of focus

Close-ups of the band will be used to illustrate the emphasis on the actual music itself
