An Animatic is a digital version of my song and is an animated version of my twenty-four shot storyboard pieced together. The purpose of creating an Animatic is that it will allow me to estimate my final edit. Every shot from my storyboard has been imported into final cut pro as a digital format. Firstly, I individually photographed my storyboard and then uploaded them to my laptop so that they were saved as a digital format. I then imported the shots into final cut pro and edited the pictures as though they were the actual video footage. This planning exercise will be helpful later on in the course when I have to edit my actual music video, as it will provide me with an idea of the arrangement of the footage.
